昆州生手从头学驾驶至路上考试通过(记录结束)

从国内出来前，考虑规则和驾驶员座位方向都不同，所以固执地没有学开车。

来了后，千头万绪拖了下来，坐车多舒服呀！
社交逐渐多了，总不能次次依靠别人，又不能依靠公车。开始想学了。

定居数月后，第一次认真地考虑学车问题。
先去一店买了书 《 Your keys to driving in Queensland 》英文版，想借此机会一石二鸟。 本书册主要的5部分，我选择先学习其中的“Road Rules”，但没学几页停下了。

又三个月后，决定再次起步。
继续学手册并且同时学英文； 在昆州网页上多做题，二项结合。时机到就去参加笔试，之后学路上驾驶。

本人居住昆州，由于各州路法不同，所以仅仅谈昆州学昆州用昆州。 其他州的有与此不同，千万莫混淆。
又，想借此提高英文，有时会用英文多些。

Road rules包括12章
1. Signs and signals
2. Speed limits
3. Making turns
4. Roundabouts
5. Indicating and signalling
6. Giving way
7. Road positions
8. Hazardous localities
9. Alcohol and drugs
10. Heavy vehicles
11. Other rules and responsibilities
12. Rules for other road users

已经大概学完10了

豁然意识到：都说澳洲开车车让人，初考虑国民素质因素导致， 学规则后， 感受最深的是这个规则最突出的最强调的是‘让路‘

让路：
一切从人性出发
所有车辆让-人，让-轮椅，让-自行车，他们是弱势；
小车让大车让巴士，人家大，你别往上撞。
在T字路口，在十字口，在roundabout, 在并线路等等， 如何让。

昆州笔试共30题，其中第一部分就是10个让路题，可见让路的重要性。

I spent lots of time on preparing a party at my house today, I haven't learnt the road rueles yet on the book. Just try to type in some 'Explanation' which a website showed me while I gave answers incorrectly and some my notes.

1. If you're turning right at an intersection, you must give way to vehicles from the opposite direction and make sure a car which is turing right does not affect you.
2. At a roundabout you must give way to all vehicles on the roundabout. Give a correct order when it has not only one car.
3. At an uncontrolled intersection, you must give way to traffic from your right. Don't worry about your left. Your left should give way to you.

4. When you face a stop sign where there is no stop line painted on the road, you must stop befor entering the intersection where you have a clear view of approaching traffic and give way to all traffic.
5. When leaving a central parking area, you must leave the parking area by driving forward only unless signs indicate otherwise so that you are allowed to reverse out.

学了'Road rules'的后两章。
注意到以下几条

Never leave children younger than 16 years, or animals, unattended in a vehicle. 以前读过一文，说是在一个泊车的地方， 一车里的后坐的小狗引来收费员，警察，动物保护组织以及兽医等等一系列人马，结果是车主人没有犯法， 这个小狗仅仅是一个标本。
留孩子独自在车里；就是break the Queesland Law.

关于使用手机
If you are found using a hand-held mobile phone while driving, you will be given a ticket for this offence. Demerit points will be recorded against your traffic history.  经历过乘坐当地人开的车里，接手机前，先找路边完全停下才接电话，当时觉得车主过于小心了，国内开车接电话的习以为常了，却才知这是交通法则。

Page 116 'Prohibited parking places'
泊车的几个不允许的数字距离，该多看看并记住，不然吃罚单就不好了。

一直好奇行人在路上哪边走的问题
国内是靠右走。In Queesland, pedestrians always walk on the footpath. If there is not one, walk on the left- or right-hand side of the road, as close to the edge as possible.
看来，这里强调的是， 行人，机动车和自行车一定各走各的道。当没有专门的行人道时，没有限制左右边走。自行车者被要求keep the left side of road.

自行车者一定要带符合标准的头盔。

所有车内的人必须系上安全带。

接手机，用免提打电话，合法......情况只适用 a hand-held mobile phone
国内开车打手机，也不是合法的。

Here I copy a paragraph from the page 119 of the book.
Tips - Mobile phones
You may use a hands-free mobile phone, CB radio or any other two-way radio when driving. However, you must drive with extreme care and attention and not allow yourself to be distracted.

那天读了一个blog，他开车的经验来自‘听说怎样怎样‘，而那个听说来的是错的，显然他没有读交规或者忘记了。
也看了一些帖子， 对读过的还是有印象的，

做题次数多了后，容易误在两点
1）不假思索地给出答案，结果错；
2）脑中已经有的尚未扎实的背景知识，混淆了此时的认识。

做题更多了的时候，好处是扎实！

12. The sign 'black P with red...'
I chose the answer 'No Parking' and I was wrong.
This sign means that you cannot park in this area at anytime but you may stop for a maximum of 2 minutes to pick up or set down passengers or goods.

13. flashing yellow lights (A local Australian told me that flashing yellow traffic lights do not happen often.)
If you face a flashing yellow traffic light or arrow, you may drive pass it applying give way rules and driving with caution.
The correct answer is 'Slow down and be prepared to give way. Treat the intersection as if there were no lights or signs or lines on it. '

14. ongoing road
I learnt about ongoing road as my first time.
At a intersection with road markings lines, the vehicle going along a ongoing road goes first.

15. default speed limit on a road in (outside) a built-up area
The default speed limit on a road in a built-up area is 50km/h.
The default speed limit on a road outside a built-up area is 100km/h.

16. vehicles stopped in front of you at a intersection
You must not block or partly block an intersection while vehicles stopped in fornt of you, you must wait until the light is green and the intersection is clear if traffic.

17. the parking distance from an intersection without traffic lights
You must not park or stop less than 10m from an intersection without traffic lights, unless there is an official sign saying you can.

18. facing the sign 'Children Crossing'
At an unsupervised children's crossing displaying Children Crossing flags you must stop at the stop line if there are any pedestrians on or entering the crossing. You must not move onto the crossing until all pedestrians have reached the footpath.

If the broken line is on your side you can cross it to turn into a driveway, to turn into another road or to overtake another vehicle. If the unbroken line is on your side, you can cross it to turn into a driveway or another road but you are not allowed to cross it to overtake another vehicle.

20. Police Offider's directions overrule the traffic lights, so obey them.

21. There is a sharp bend sign. Don't mix up with U-turn sign.

22. the distance you are allowed to drive in a special purpose lane
You may drive in a bicycle lane for up to 50m and all other special purpose lanes for up to 100m to enter or leave a road.

23. the situation you are allowed to overtake on the left
You can overtake another vehicle on the left if the vehicle is signalling its intention to turn right or when you are driving in a multi-lane road.

24. the minimum stopping distance from a bus stop
Unless there is an official sign showing you can, you must not park less than 20 metres before and 10 metres after a bus stop.

25. seatbelts
Seatbelts must be worn by everyone in a vehicle when the vehicle is moving, or stopped but not parked. However, a driver is not required to wear a seatbelt while reversing.

昨天参加笔试，最有把握的让路部分，反倒错一题， 第二部分全部正确。

感觉学习内容太多，反作用是学习不透彻！！给自己合适的时间，勿急勿躁，好好思考理解。

无论如何，开门红， 顺利拿到学习执照，车下学习结束，车上学习开始。

这个黄灯的问题，我已经在本网页看到过此类帖，自己的看法是尽量莫冲了，如果追尾， 那是后者的责任； 若担心追尾而自己失误不好。

除非你的车子带尾钩, 否则即使把刹车踩到底,依旧会有冲出停车线的机会.冲出停车线就有阻塞垂直方向交通的可能

上车前做了两件事
1）了解了车各部分的英文名称，看了交规书的路考检查点但没多少印象，看了dvd--笔试通过后发的
2）与教我的人， 谈了无数次，耐心些不要动气等等等

今天一小时的第一次上车
总体感觉-- 没啥太多感觉，上车就上车了，车动了就不断地按照指令做做做了。

get on the car
seatbelt / get comfortable
key in/on
foot on the brake
release the handbrake
put in gear
check safe to move
give signal
when safe, to move

方向盘是 9点和3点；10点和2点， 我选择9和3

今天又一个小时练习回来

原地点，一个只有两个出口的地势不同的有树有电线杆的空地。
主要两点：
1）对于brake 和 accelerator 二者的转换
2）方向盘转向适时适度
都需要平稳，坐在车里不感觉太大的变化。

今天老师很满意，之后说自动档太容易了。之中突然看见另一辆车冲进来，绕了绕去很久没有任何L或者 p牌，最后判断是来练习泊车的。老师很惊恐，其实我是有感觉的，真好有另一辆车，这样我开始有了安全意识，知道看看人家的车，不仅仅是只盯着静止的路和树了。

经过最初学英文交规的难，之后到享受那英文；现在也觉得开车也享受，能驾驭它怎不享受呢？ 也许泊车倒车以及上路后的综合判断会难？不过好在我有足够的时间，慢慢来吧，没关系。 I'll get there.

迄今为止，总计8小时。

对‘转弯抹角the control of steering wheel‘和稳定的速度行驶common sense两项已经非常熟练，第八小时，开始后倒车 reverse, 绕着一颗不规则形状的矮树并且一直保持适当的距离，尚未完全控制，不过仅仅是几分钟后就有了感觉，多些练习后指日可待。

后倒车时，可以把安全带放开。The fact is that a driver, without a seatbelt, is 5.5 times more likely to die if the driver involved in a crash. Thus, everyone in a vehicle must wear a fastened sealbelt at all times. One of the only exceptions is if you are reversing the vehical.

实际上目前是非常享受的，信心满满。已经从一个惧怕驾驶的同学的阴影下，彻彻底底地摆脱出来。自觉学习的速度控制的虽慢却也还好，因为不是花钱请教练上课，所以不介意慢慢稳步地向前了，此时汽油价格比较高 139.9 ~~ 159.9

又一小时，两个阶段一是依然前行转弯等二是几分钟的倒车行。
一阶段实实在在是享受，注意了行左行右和左转右转
1) Always keep control of the steering wheel;
2) Control the clutch so that there is a smooth teke-up of power to the drive wheels and smooth gear changing;
3) Drive to avoid harsh or abrupt movement by slowing the vehical smoothly and progressively.
后几分钟是第二次的reverse练习了，依然没有控制很好，搞不清方向盘，似乎刚刚有点感觉的时候结束了。两个方向的倒转圈和保持直方向的倒。原因之一是我的速度太快了，没有足够的时间判断和反应，老师说即使真正的路上倒车，我的速度也是过快，下次我要慢些试试。

因为我实在太菜了啊，先搬个板凳坐下来学习。。。

真羡慕你稳扎稳打的学习和充满自信和享受的心态，目前为止，教练就拉我出去练了一回，在国内我拿了个驾照就再也没开过了，非常不扎实的情况下拿的，等于就不会开，然后第一节课基本上教练就是按照考试的要求来教的，去考场练的，教了许多东西，判断车的position，变左道，变右道，如何做动作，give signal, mirror check, head check 等等，还教了angle parking等。但是我连基本的车感都没有培养起来，连车的方向控制都还有问题，做head check只是为了做那个动作而做，根本顾不上看到底是不是有车可以变道了，总之没觉得第一堂一个半小时的学习有任何收获，整个一个晕。。。
