Software Developer
Salary Point: Salary Point 16, $1,202.70 per week to Salary Point 20, $1,369.20 per week according to qualifications and experience
Major Responsibilities
Reporting to the Business Applications Centre Manager, the Software Developer will be expected to:
•Support existing custom built software applications, ensuring applications meet service levels
•Develop applications to meet business requirements in accordance with agreed plans
•Continual improvement of application development and support standards and processes to reflect best practice
Essential Requirements
1.Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline
2.Commercial experience supporting and engineering applications and associated databases using the Microsoft .Net technology tools
3.Ability to perform competently the duties and functions of the position
Senior Software Developer
Salary Point: Salary Point 24, $1,560.40 per week to Salary Point 28, $1,779.10 per week according to qualifications and experience
Major Responsibilities
Reporting to the Business Applications Centre Manager, the Software Developer will be expected to:
•Support existing custom built software applications, ensuring applications meet service levels
•Design and develop applications to meet business requirements in accordance with agreed plans
•Mentor junior software development staff to develop skills in accordance with development plans
•Continual improvement of application development and support standards and processes to reflect best practice
Essential Requirements
1.Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline
2.Commercial experience supporting and developing applications and associated databases using the Microsoft .Net technology tools
3.Ability to perform competently the duties and functions of the position
Senior System Analyst
Salary Point: Salary Point 26, $1,665.60 per week to Salary Point 30, $1,899.70 per week according to qualifications and experience
Major Responsibilities
Reporting to the Business Applications Centre Manager, the Software Developer will be expected to:
•Gather and analyse requirements for new or enhanced applications through effective collaboration with business representatives
•Design new IT applications and associated databases to meet business requirements in accordance with agreed plans
•Design enhancements to existing applications so that applications continue to meet changing business requirements
•Implement applications in conjunction with business representatives
•Continual improvement of application design, development and support standards and processes to reflect best practice
Essential Requirements
1.Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline.
2.Experience in requirements analysis and in implementing software solutions
3.Experience in application and database design using Microsoft .Net technology
4.Ability to perform competently the duties and functions of the position
