Not sure about your situation. But if you really need to start make living immediately, the possible best place to look at is the Chinese Newspaper although it's not a long term solution, not even a good solution.

But at least it might bring you some income. When you can earn something by yourself at this stage, you will feel much better.

If you are not so thirsty, give yourself a break. Rome is not built in a day, and most likely, it's not going to be destroy in a day. Relax, have some fun with the family, once you start to work, maybe you don't even have the time doing so.

Personally, I think if not absolutely necessary, don't put your foot into labor job too early or too deep. Because sometimes, when you get into it and get used to it, it's hard to get back to professional unless you don't really care about the difference.

Another hint, if looking for temporary job from newpaper, try to avoid the Chinese agents, (Most if not all advertisements with office address in Sussex Street are them.) They have very bad reputations in cheating and misleading.

At last, since you are here already. Try to be positive, and to be happy. Whether you worry or not doesn't make any difference to this world. So, Do what you can and take it easy.

Good luck and take care.
