是只要买了私人医疗保险就能不用交了，还是只能退你买保险的钱？

比如你一年要交medicare levy surcharge 1500块，如果你买了一个基本的，花了600块钱，是不是还是要交900块？就是1500块里可以退600？还是只要买了私保，就1500都不需要交了？

最基本的cover比较便宜，但不一定符合ATO要求，必须Appropriate level of private patient hospital cover才能免MSL

an insurance policy for hospital cover taken out after 24 May 2000 that has an 'annual front-end deductible' amount or excess of more than $500 in the case of a policy covering only one person, or more than $1,000 for all other policies, does not provide private patient hospital cover for MLS purposes.

Your health insurer statement will indicate the maximum number of days that your policy may have provided an appropriate level of private patient hospital cover at label A.

levy 是一定要交的， if u have hospital cover,then don't need pay the extra. otherwise u need pay levy and extra as well

多少都会交一些吧。。。那个88000是说交的钱和去年比没变

那个表格里面Unchanged下面的Medicare levy surcharge rate是0%，这不是说不用交吗？

今天刚看了，现在的标准是：90000/个人，180000/家庭。远达不到啊！

感觉医保实在是很贵啊。。。除非你收入长期在90000以上，不然买医保的这些钱本来就可以用来做很多事情了。。。
