呵呵，有朋友就是一开始要远离华人区，住进西人区。然后有一天想买棵葱都买不到，最后终于买到了很粗的那种，以此种种，经过三个月他终于崩溃了，搬回离华人区不远的一个地方住。买什么去盒子山非常方便。最后感叹，还是要近华人区才行啊。

I'll move to GW soon,   . But I may come back one day, the house price of eastern MEL is too high for me.

Today I received the driver license translation docs from AMES. It's a surprise to me since my expectation is I can only get it after the new year's day.
AMES staff told me it may take 2 monthes for the translation of driver licenses and Immunization record. Acturally, it takes only 3 working days for me to get the translated docs. I like AMES.

Another rainy day. I bought a TomTom start GPS, only $98. Small screen but enough for daily use.

Today we went to wantirna south, although our plan is disrupted by the heavy rain, I would say it is no regret to take this trip.

We take a 1-hour tour in Waverley Christian College, that's a pleasant trip since we can feel how happy the students here are. Obviously, testing score is not the focus here, at least it is not the only focus. It is not important what the students would do after graduation, god creates all kinds of people, the school just help the young people find out what they are good at.

It is said that there will be storm later in Melbourne. Since we don't have car and have to rely on public transport, we decided to come back home early. Pastor Luo of citylife church sent us home using his car. It is not uncommon to get help from people who never know before in your life here, that makes difference in everyone's life.

I do like your positive attitude about life.By the way,i have gone to west melbourne last weekend, seaholme,altona and cherry lake.the good weather made our trip  very agreeable.
i am also thinking about buying a house in western mel,POINT COOK looks like a good choice but its too barren,i can't imagine living in a house without trees around it.
It will never be easy to make a choice. i chose to live here then i will have to accept the truth that even in a country like oz  i still cannot afford the so-called good house.

Thanks for your help . I wrote this post in English, just because I want to improve my English. I always feel I want to say sth but don't know how to express myself. I have a long way to go.
So, any advice from you guys will be highly appreciated.

It takes 10 years to grow trees. You may consider some older houses, not the new developments. Point Cook certainly should not be your choice, it's more suitable for investment.

Life seems to be easier in Glen Waverley, although I still do not have a car.
The bus stop is close to our home, I can easily arrange my time and do not need wait for a long time. In the chinese markets, I do not need speak English. In the library, I can easily borrow many chinese books. I also met many Chinese friends in the church, looks more I'm living somewhere in China, not in Australia.
I feel a little bit nervous about all those happens around me this week, is this the life I want?

I should call myself a quick buyer. I bought a used car from a dealer, although I saw many friends bought their car from private owner.
Since I know almost nothing about car, I just thought the dealer should be very happy now.   He got money and I got the car with RWC/service log. I checked it on vicroads VIP and seems it is OK.

Seems that now what I need do is just waiting at home for the car to come.

woolie的大葱不是很多的嘛。

话说boxhill现在下面的停车先进了许多，至少我每次去不用绕死找车位了。

Of course not. I just go to car city to have a look there. So many used cars, I feel tired after half an hour, so made a quick decision and went back to sleep.

Today I went the primary school to enrol my son in. The staff gave me the application form and told me my son need go to the language school for 2 terms' english program.
Then I called blackburn language school to make an appointment and then went there for enrolment. The new term will began from Feb 2011.
Nothing special, I believe that's the normal procedure for every chinese family who just come here.

I can not make sure that if it is in good condition, and that's why I bought the car from the dealer. I hope if there is some problem, the warranty could help me out.

Which year's model is it? Is there any extras? Did you test-drive the car then? Reverse, speed up, slow down, break, check all lights and indicators, try all power windows, look under the bonnet and below the car, ect. - I'm no mechanic, but I certainly don't want to miss some apparent faults...

Buying a car, esp. a second-hand one, your journey starts from your local library and online.

It's my preferred one as well. How much does it cost you? I guess it's not very cheap.
