Welcome to the sixth edition of the Sydney Urban Max, to be held in the
Sydney CBD on the 20th November 2010.

The Urban Max is Australia’s first urban adventure series based on the popular TV Series “The Amazing Race”.
Established in 2005, the concept of an “Urban Adventure Race” was trialled in Sydney with an overwhelming
response and successful endorsements from competitors and sponsors alike.
The Urban Max has since grown from strength to strength into a national series with events in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Every year, more than 1000 adventure enthusiast line up to take part in the series each with their own individual goals. Whether you are an elite competitor who wish to compete for top honours, or a beginner who would simply like to enjoy a day of adventure, this event is for you. The race is designed for all skill and fitness levels and our primary goal is to promote a fun and healthy lifestyle through participation in the Urban Max.

This year is the sixth edition of the Sydney Urban Max and we would like to welcome all new and returning competitors to this exciting format of urban adventure racing. We hope you have as much fun participating in the event as we’ve had designing the course and developing the checkpoints.
