请教136Visa 入籍的一些问题

我和我太太是2006年11月28号拿到的136签证, 07年3月份去短登过一次。目前准备过去长登并申请入籍,关于入籍前在澳的居住时间的问题想再向大家请教确认一下。在准签信中关于澳洲公民的一段我copy如下:

Australian Citizenship:

A person is usually eligible for Australian citizenship after having lived in Australia as a permanent resident for a total of two years in the five years immediately before the date of application for citizehship (including at least 12 months in the two years immediately before applying). Further information about Australian citizenship can be obtained after arrival in Australia from any office of this Department, or from the Citizenship Telephone Information Line on 131880.

我想咨询的问题是如果我08年11月过去，也就是在未来三年的时间中(till Nov 28, 2011)是不是我只要累计待满2年&最后两年累计待满12个月就可以申请入籍了？最后两年是否需要连续待满12月呢还是只要累计就可以了，好像我听不同的朋友有不同的说法，请问有哪位高手可以指点一下吗？急，谢谢！

有同样的疑问，另外移民监一定要主申请人去坐吗？呼唤澳洲的雷锋！！

LZ引用的是旧的入籍条件了，从2007年7月1号以后改成要求居住4年了。lz虽然在2007年7月1号以前短蹬激活了pr，本可以享受旧的入籍条件，但是由于所有的按旧入籍条件申请入籍的人都必须在2010年7月1号以前提出申请，lz现在来已经不可能在2010年7月1号以前住满两年了，所以无法按旧入籍条件申请了。

"If people became permanent residents before 1 July 2007 and apply before 30 June 2010, they must have been physically present in Australia as a permanent resident for a total of two years in the five years before applying, including one year in the two years before applying."

我想请问的是5年中住满4年是唯一入籍的途径吗？是否有别的途径，比如登陆后生小孩了，小孩是否可直接入籍然后大人也受益，而不需要等漫长的4年，谢谢
