Description


We have a newly created opportunities for experienced Verification and Validation Engineer's to join our Melbourne team.



Key Responsibilities

·         To devise and define test procedures and associated scenarios, in cooperation with other team members, in order to validate various functions of the system (off-line and on-line)

·         To carry out validation and performance tests during partial integration, in cooperation with the development team

·         To carry out validation tests, in cooperation with the customer representatives, during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in-house and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at the program’s relevant site

·         To record the test results and to prepare the Problem Change Reports (PCRs)

·         To report test results and debrief the customer

·         To track and validate PCR corrective actions, in coordination with the development team

·         To verify the impact of System Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)

·         To reassess the achievability of the test schedule and to advise the Segment Manager and V&V Team Leader of any necessary changes or significant risks.

·         To provide internal assistance (in connection with bids, technical proposals, dataset preparation, and system engineering) as required.



Key Skills and Experience

·        Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related field essential. Previous ATM experience also highly regarded.

·         System validation and system development lifecycle experience

·         Proven problem identification and analysis skills and system requirements analysis skills

·         Good interpersonal skills

·         Ability to cope with pressure

·         Ability / wish to travel

·         Familiarity with MS Office

·         Ability to understand complex real time systems
