A high level of demand for ENS/RSMS visas has resulted in an on-hand caseload accumulating. This has obliged the processing network to introduce a revised processing model that recognises that we are going to have queued applications.
To minimize these inefficiencies/costs we need to try and retain some of the efficiencies of the “two day” processing model. One of the impacts of the “two day” model is that encourages agents to lodge decision ready applications.
Accordingly, to encourage decision ready applications the ENS/RSMS network is offering Migration Agents the opportunity to certify their cases as decision ready. You may well be familiar with such an approach given that we have drawn the idea from the eGSM processing centre in Brisbane.
Where an agent certifies an application as decision ready it will be allocated immediately to a case of officer for processing. Refer to the relevant certification/checklists attached.
