Below is a recent posting from Akbar Jindani on the MIA Forum

At least 10-12 of Victorian MIA members were in Canberra yesterday regarding ANZCO presentation.

Some of the highlights are as follows:

1. DIAC is planning to implement using ANZSCO from March 2010.
2. Based on that there would obviously be a new SOL/ENS and 457 lists.
3. Migration Agent / Migration Consultant (NZ) would be one of the occupation in ANZSCO at Skill Level 1.
4. ANZSCO will not have Duties defined for each occupation as currently in ASCO but high level job summary at Group level. This means DIAC is concerned about not having a Gospel to work from and they are working on this issue.
5. There would be transition periods while all existing application will continue to be assessed under ASCO.
6. I feel that there should be new Skill Assessment guidelines from various skill assessment bodies based on new ANZSCO. I also felt that there is not much co-ordination happening so far on it for March 2010 implementation.
7. Version 2, of the ANZSCO will be available from ABS site towards the end of June 2009 for download.

It is pleasing  to see that the occupation of Migration Agent is included in the Dictionary but the writer feels that is unlikely that DIAC will include the occupation on the Critical Skills List  or even the Skilled Occupations List.

The occupation of Sex Worker or Escort  is included with a Skill level of 5.

The specialisations in this category are Telephone Sex Worker and Dominatrix and another part  of the Dictionary includes helpful guidance on the concept of specialisation which makes interesting reading in respect of these specialist occupations.

Skill specialisation is defined as a function of:
•       field of knowledge required
•       tools and equipment used
•       materials worked on, and
•       goods or services produced or provided.
Once again the writer feels  that it unlikely that these occupations will be placed on the Critical Skills List or even the Skilled Occupations list .

建议ACS即可修改申请条件，将四年工作经验改为昼夜72小时强化培训，以提高性价比。

这个职业是为澳洲人民服务的。不是为了移民的。澳洲很快就有这种学校了，扩招海外留学生。

对于已经通过Ａ　Ｃ　Ｓ评估的，不需要授课。
