XXX is required to provide evidence of having at least functional English as described in the attachment 'English Language Requirements'. If this attachment has not been provided, please contact this office to obtain a copy.

If XXX XXX cannot provide the required evidence of English language ability they may choose to pay the appropriate “2nd Visa Application Charge (VAC) (English)" or sit an IELTS test. If the applicant intends to pay the 2nd VAC for English please advise this office accordingly.

Please note that applicants intending to pay this charge do not need to make the payment until they are asked to do so by this office.
