If you want to know the price of house, just check the website of Real estate. To my mind, the price of house is similar to Melbourne. Several local friends told me the public school of Darwin is better than other state.

I know some new immigrants can study English freely in Charles Darwin University, but i don't know how to apply.

If for IT, Sydney & Melbourne are better. However, there are many IT jobs in these both cities now. My husband applied the job online from China in this month, three agents in Austraila have contacted him and will have telephone interviews.
