Some people think that the increasing business and cultural contact between countries brings many positive effects. Others argue that it causes the loss of national identities. Discuss on both these sides and give your opinion.

写理由段思路总是打不开,文章感觉写得有点虚,求点评和思路指点,拜谢

Whatever people like or dislike, globlisation is the trend since the nations have more and more interactions with each other. One of the most distinctive feature of this trend is the sweeping business and cultural contact all over the world. Some people regard this as a positive change while some others concern that the trend posts a threat to national identities.

On the one hand, interaction and cooperation across national boundaries bring out the development of economy and culture. First, Multi-international corporations play a significant role in promoting economic development of the country where they invest in. They employ a host of labour force, bring advanced technology and cultivate a rising marketing, which eventually benefits people of the country.  In addition, increasing cultural contact between countries enable people from different nations to get to know with each other,  which apparently helps to reduce conflicts between travellers and hosts because less misunderstanding would occur if foreigners know the customs and habits of the country they travel to.

On the other hand, the proliferation of dominate culture accompanying with the rising business contact arises some civilians' concern about their local culture. People worry that their culture would be replaced by the invader and their national identities finally disappears. It is partly true that indeed some traditions are becoming extinction because fewer youngsters are interested in heritaging these traditions. Young people are more likely to accept strong culture and be instilled with the dominate values. Therefore, the unappealing traditions which stands for part of national identities is under threat of extinction.

For my part, it is useless to worry about the loss of national identities. If people want to preserve their national identities, they should take chance of the increasing interaction to strengthen the distinguish features of their culture rather than waiting for the assimilation of dominate culture, after all, the contact should be mutual beneficial.
