刘洪波老师的冠词用法商榷

《最简化雅思写作》斜体表示出现了不应有的冠词，下划线表示应有的冠词缺失了。冠词也是我自己的弱项，请教各位我分析的是否正确。
p66:
Both environment contamination and conservation are the long-term process, and no single government or big company can meet this challenge alone.
p98:
Of course, it may intensify the commercial competitions and the long-distance shipping has the negative impact on the environment.
p102:
Nowadays, both men and women have to work to cover the increasing cost of living.

1,2都属于前置形容词（限定词）＋抽象名词，所以不需要冠词。
3属于形容词（限定词）后置，需要冠词。


比如：
she is MY friend--不需要冠词
she is A friend OF MINE.需要冠词

冠词的用法很多，比较复杂。真的想研究，买个书看看吧。
