标题: 澳洲的幼儿园，学前班都是什么时间开学？多大年龄入学？
如题，请教大家了！我打算带五岁的女儿1月底长登，是否可以赶在2月初入学呢。是该上幼儿园还是学前班呢？谢谢了。

There are two stages of pre-school in Australia.

Stage 1: Kindy - for kids at the age of 4
Stage 2: Preprimary - for kids at the age of 5

Be aware of age caculating:
If your child was born before July 1st, he/she will join those who were born "one year" earlier but after July.

Nope, it is July.

I remember very well coz i got my son enrolled into kindy two years ago, and at that time he was just less than 4 years old (a bit more than 3.5 years old) as his DOB is before July.

NSW的规定，7月31日之前满5周岁的，可以报名入当年的kindy,打个比方说你的孩子如果在2011年7月31日之前满5周岁，2011年1月底就可以上kindy了。其他洲规矩不清楚，望其他TX补充。一般KINDY的入学时间在1月底或者2月初。

首先确定你住的地方，然后拿地址证明和其它相关资料，比如护照．小孩的免疫证明，带去学校ＥＮＲＯＬ就行了．
上面说了年龄限制，接着你就按照学校的流程了．一般会有几天让你带着子去学校转的．有相关的介绍等．

你１月底来，就应该赶不上学校的介绍日了．但入学肯定没问题，第三个ＴＥＲＭ前来都不耽误入学．

谢谢大家的信息，那我女儿2012年1月底已经满5岁了。2月初笃定可以上Preprimary.太好了.

再请教大家：上学和放学的时间是怎么样的啊？中饭在学校吃么还是回家吃的？

新洲是9点到3点，中午一般是自己带饭，有些学校的餐厅天天开放早上可以去订餐
中午在学校吃饭
