Pedestrian dead after being hit by two cars Megan Levy

A pedestrian was killed when he was struck by two cars, one of which fled the scene, in Melbourne’s south-west last night.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the hit-and-run crash on Forsyth Road in Hoppers Crossing about 8.30pm.
A Victoria Police spokesman said the man, in his 60s, was walking along Forsyth Road when he was was struck by a south-bound Honda.
A light coloured vehicle behind the Honda also hit the man, before driving off.
The female driver of the Honda pulled over and tried to help the pedestrian, however he died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
The man’s death brings Victoria’s road toll for the year to 181, compared to 171 for the same period last year.
