标题: 无奖征答 - 昆虫鉴定
See the photos below.

I have narrowed it down to a possible family, but I can't pin point the exact species.

I remember several guys mentioned they are intested in ID insects/ learning to be a Natralist. So here's the chance:

I don't have any points to give because I'm no longer a Forum topic host, but feel proud if you can ID it!

I will reveal my partial answer after enough entries.

蜡蝉类（同翅目/半翅目同翅亚目蜡蝉总科）的很多种类若虫都是类似这样，这类昆虫在亚洲和澳洲都种类繁多。由于没有锁定具体种类，而是不同种类都有可能，所以没有确定的拉丁名。

Gergithoides属昆虫更像一些，不过也有可能是别的属的。比如Ricaniidae科在澳洲比较常见的种类Scolypopa australis。

最好能找本半翅目/同翅目的图鉴。

本人认为也有可能是Margarodidae 科的雄性若虫 Callipappus spp. (Bird of paradise fly)。这个科的研究好像很少，在google上都没有很多的reference.
这个的中文的名字根本不知道了。

英雄所见略同 - 我和OZ都认为是为成虫的若虫。羽根没有发展完善。OZ版认为是蜡蝉类，我查看之后可能就是了！
BTW, 瓢蜡蝉类昆虫真的好可爱！我对这个属的了解不多， OZ提起后我去google，原来宝岛台湾有好多！

是Cicadidae，　上面提到的近亲。也叫Ｐｌａｎｔｈｏｐｐｅｒｓ：

Cicadidae不就是蝉科吗？也就是普通的蝉。planthopper是蜡蝉类昆虫的统称，但是不用于称呼蝉类的，虽然二者是近亲。planthopper应该没问题，但Cicadidae这个名字应该有误。楼上的这个照片是Flatidae科的，中文名为蛾蜡蝉科。我认为顶楼的照片属于蛾蜡蝉科应该问题不大了。不过具体种类，连昆虫网站上的照片都未能确定具体的属，只说是Colgaroides acuminata的可能性比较大，但不能肯定，估计要确定具体的种就比较困难了。姑且认为具体种类就是Colgaroides acuminata吧。
