I am writing this mail to check with you regarding my migration skill assessment status, my contact ID is xxxxxxx.
I have submitted my skill assessment documentation by end Sep. 8 weeks have passed since I submitted my application, may I know how is the current status regarding my application? Will it be ended by 12 weeks around which just like what you committed during September this year on your web site?
For you information, after I submitted the skill assessment ,I have submitted the Victoria state sponsorship application also. They have reviewed my CV and give me 3 month to get my skill assessment result. The due date will be early of next January. I hope I can get my skill assessment result before the due date of the state sponsorship , otherwise I shall apply it again 6 months later, which will seriously delay my migration process.
Hope your understanding regarding my concern. Thanks in advance.

发这封信的时候,基本没抱什么希望, 传说中EA是不会回复邮件的,除非最后的通过信扫描件,这当中有一个小插曲,我本来一并问他们有没有收到我的雅斯成绩,结果assessor A 告诉我没收到,我晕倒,我早在9月初就寄过去了,结果一直等到11月中等我发邮件问才告诉我没收到,没办法赶紧准备用快递寄,可能就是这个小插曲导致了EA的歉疚(稍候说明’),然后我才能9周拿到结果吧. 下面是assessor A的回复
Engineers Australia received your CDR application on early October 2009. A receipt was sent to your nominated address. We still haven't received your IELTS.
The assessment time has moved to 14 weeks. I apologise for the delay but we have been inundated with applications and our assessors are working very hard to clear the backlog. If you feel you have a genuine reason to speed up the process of your assessment please send an explanation and evidence of this so we can review whether we can bring your application forward.
信中提到一个很有意思的事情就是 如果我能提供一个a genuine reason 并且有evidence, 那么就可以提前审理啊!也就是12周有门啊! 于是马上写了下面这封信给assessor A.
Thanks for your quick response regarding my enquiry.
Regarding the IELTS, I will request IELTS center resend by early next week,
this time I will use express courier instead of the ordinary mail. Hope it
can be delivered within next week. I will also double check with you next
week.
Now turn to my skill assessment, yes I did receive your receipt which stated
that you received my application by early Oct . According to Victoria state
government regulation, the applicant can submit the application before he
get the final skill assessment result. And normally they will hold the
application for 3 months to wait for the skill assessment result come out,
as what I mentioned in my last mail, I did check the application turnaround
time from your website, which mentioned 12 weeks around. Based on all above
conditions, I submitted my Victoria state sponsorship after I deliver my CDR
to EA. You can refer to the first affix which calls “VSS auto reply”, and
Victoria government did give me 3 month (12 weeks) to get my skill
assessment result, which you can refer to the second affix calls ”VSS hold
for Skill assessment result”. Otherwise they may reject my application and
I have to apply again 6 months later. Which will seriously delay my
migration progress time. According to my application receiving time early Oct
plus the processing time 3 months. I better get my assessment result not
late than 25 Dec. Considering the holiday of Christmas, I hope I can get my
skill assessment result at least by end of Dec. Then It might be negotiable
with Victoria government regarding my sponsorship application.
Hope it can be more clear and reasonable regarding prioritize my application

apologies - she could not find your IELTS TRF when she looked, but I can
confirm it arrived on Mid Sep and was amongst our general TRF holdings
since which time I have added it to your submission.
An outcome letter is being prepared, and will be mailed to you in due
course. Apologies again for the earlier incorrect advice on your IELTS
TRF.
