标题: ACT州担保：To be or not to be...
三无，州担保还是等？

申请ACT州担保
Pros:
* 加快速度

Cons:
* 最重要一条，Canberra工作不好找，去了担心不容易混饭吃
* 要重考雅思，口语要求6.5，还差0.5，说难不算难，说容易也不容易。。。
* 职业评估已过期，要re-validate
* 算上以上雅思考试职业评估和州担保申请的时间，可能也要半年左右
* 州政府能否批准担保还不一定。。。

死等独立175
Pros:
* 啥也不用做
* 将来找工作相对容易

Cons:
* 遥遥无期

没了，支持2231-17的176现在只有ACT
还有QLD的475，不过那个不能去Brisbane，就更难找工作了

申请吧，176比475还是有很多优势的
做IT的在首都找工作应该不会太麻烦吧，虽然肯定不如Sydney和Mel
而且如果州赞助通过了就标明他们也认为你应该可以找到工作

关键看你是不是急着去OZ

关于176居住地的限制
以下是ACT担保申请表的内容

· I agree to live and work in the ACT for at least two years from first arrival date.

· On lodgement of my Skilled - Sponsored visa application, I will inform the ACT Skilled and Business Migration (SBM) Program of my Transaction / File Reference Number (TRN or FRN) within seven days of receipt from DIAC.

· I will inform the SBM Program of the progress of my visa application, when the Skilled - Sponsored visa application is decided by DIAC and, if approved, my expected arrival date in Australia.

· I understand that the ACT Government has an obligation to report the location of migrants under this scheme and agree to:

- contact the SBM program within one month of first arrival in Australia;

- complete further settlements surveys 6, 12, 18 and 24 months after arrival.

· I will inform the SBM Program of any change to my contact details in Canberra for 24 months after arrival in order to receive and complete the settlement surveys.

· I have access to financial resources to support myself and any dependents while becoming established and finding employment in the ACT.

· I understand that government social security benefits are not available until I have permanently resided in Australia for two years.

它还是没具体说2年从短登开始算还是从长登开始算。。。
first arrival date难道是指短登开始？？

这个问题感觉好像是做雅思里面的T/F/NG题，永远搞不懂鬼子的思维方式。。。

谢谢mianwo，最后一个貌似不是针对176的，175也有。前面的我认为都是一些agreement，不是obligation，关键是没有讲会得到什么样的consequence。万一真的在指定洲找不到工作，总要吃饭的吧？没有工作怎么来收入？既然是PR也不可能说剥夺居住的权利。

原来lz的情况和我一模一样，我是08.05.31提交的，目前也正在研究ACT担保。

最大的问题是雅思口语要6.5，为了这个0.5可有的折腾了。（估计从现在开始准备到拿到6.5也得3个月吧）

如果明确告诉我最多再等1.5年，我就忍了，不折腾了。

关键是现在太被动。
