There is no denying the fact that it is a hotly debated topic whether firecrackers should be banned. Some people hold the view that there are a lot of advantages for both adults and child involved in setting off firecrackers. For one thing, providing a better atmosphere of festivals and holiday occasions, the firecracker is playing an important role during the spring festival, the national festival and the like. For another, playing various firecrackers can reduce people’s stress of life and work.
However, others object to firecrackers. The poor quality of firecrackers can bring about the fire accident. In recent years, there has been a marked growth of fire accidents brought about by firecrackers. At the same time, with poor sense of safety, more and more people are injured by the firecracker. In addition, the cost of firecrackers is very high to most Chinese consumers.
For my part, playing firecrackers can do a lot more good than bad as long as the government can strengthen quality supervision of firecrackers and people improve their safety awareness.
开头不要和正方观点连在一块儿，分行写。child用复数children, set off firecrackers-不知道放鞭炮是否是这个说法，可以用play with firecrackers吗？鞭炮之所以是重要角色，你可以在后面补充说明:in ancient chinese period, firecrackers were made in huge quantities,people had them in order to drive away wickedness and met gods,in particular in spring festival,playing with firecrackers has been one of chinese traditional culture,这样论据就有了，字数也上去了。反方论证里，accidents brought about by firecrackers---bring about用了两次了，可以用caused替换。但后面没有看见具体论据啊，你可以举例，今年北京的新电视大楼被花炮烧掉了外壳，人员伤亡，a firefighter died in that awful accident…领导很生气，outcome was very terrible,没准儿考官一看见这个有力论据，他一感兴趣，少扣你0.5分，呵呵，而且字数也上去了。还有，为啥不提atmosphere pollution and garbage cleaning呢？noise pollution你也漏了吧，可以继续展开论证。
