In the meantime, it's best that you prepare mentally for the interview:

He will be assessing your communication, how you come across on the phone, your energy level, why you decide to chose this role, etc..

是因为太远了才电话面试的，公司在悉尼而我在brisbane

当作面试锻炼吧，you lose nothing and if it's lucky enough, maybe you get an offer, why not? Think something positive and prepare for it!

建议把你的highlight用英语都准备下，要有具体例子做支撑，不是背诵，但是要有关键字或者提纲，然后自己说上几遍。
还有一些常见问题，网上找下答案也复述几遍。

我面试的原则就是，不管我英语多滥，尽量上来就多说，不要等他们提问。
因为我们英语说的再滥，他们也能听懂，何况还有手势和身体语言。（面对面的面试）
但是如果他们问出问题，我听不懂，那才是真没辙呢。

所以说面对面的面试容易嘛，一些听不懂也可以用猜的
