标题: An IT volunteer job opportunity
Hi, guys. I am looking for a decent personfor the charity group which I am working at. We hope you can start ASAP.

If you are that man, you will:
l       Work 1 or 2 or 3 regularly days(Mon, Wed, Fri) a week as a computer room supervisor at ST Mary's House ofWelcome, your major responsibility will be supervise Internet use, programs,provide help/consulate to homeless people & elders.
l       Provide dinner service topeople come in.
l       Have will to do this job for acertain time. Although you can quit whenever as you wish for the reasonsuch as getting a job or whatever. I hope you can serve a reasonable period formy reputation in this organization.
l       Be patient and have the will toserve misfortunes. These people include disabled, homeless, the victims ofchild or sex abuse. Sometimes, someone will be harsh to you. Although it israre, but it happens. You should be tolerant andpolite. Also, perhaps I should have mentioned I am the only regularChinese (also Asian) volunteer worker in this place as far as I can see. So inmy opinion, we are the windows connecting Chinese immigrants to this community.We should present best image to them.

The advantages of this job will be:
l       A respectable referee who canadd to your resume as a local IT related experience. Actually, perhaps somepeople have known, it is not so easy to find a professional volunteer job for anew immigrant.
l       A fastest and cheapest way to"touch" local community and improve your English.

You will not eligible for this job if:
l       You are not live near Fitzorydistrict in Melbourne.(The address is 165-169 Brunswick  St). I guess you can not insist taking more than 2hours a day for a job like this for a certain period.
l       You are seeking a job to earnsome money. The only thing this organization will give you is a freelunch if you come in the morning and serve half a day. (In my case, I come at10:00am and leave at around 2:30pm). You have to pay your cost such as transportfee yourself.
l       You can not understand what Iam saying after looking at this essay just once. Although this job will notrequest the same ability as a commercial custom facingrole, it is still a service one. You supposed to have basic level oflanguage ability to communication with locals in most case. Some of theseguys really have heavy accent! If you have problems in coping withyour daily life within this country right now, please take some Englishtraining such as LLNP first.
l       You have some kind of highhygiene standard. Some of people you will face have strong odor, much strongerthan the local you deal with in your daily life due to the reason that they arehomeless. Actually I have seen a guy wear the same clothes for a month.

So anyone who interest in this opportunity cansend message in this website to me. I will recommend the first eligible one tothe staff.

我在国内是做SUPPORT的, 做了十年,今年三月底来澳洲的,现在在LLNP读LEVEL IV, 但英文还是很汗颜(因为你引荐我去,我当然要把我的实际情况告诉你,怕你到时候左右难做人).

PS, 我是女生,我用我老公的ID问你情况的,怕你误会.因为我在澳洲的朋友都说澳洲的电脑都是男人的世界.我有两份interview都没有下闻. 所以有必要和你先报备一下.

没人联系我，搞不懂，这个事对我自己也没啥额外好处，就是想乘我还在，给大家提供个机会，给自己简历上添一笔，顺便也练练口语，熟悉一下环境，大多数local都比较认可这种经验，也算是面试时能提的一个亮点。

怎么好几次都好像我很着急一样，给了电话都不联系我，要我主动去电话联系，问情况，你想不想去，你能不能去，你有啥安排，你的职业目标咋样，作义工能有啥帮助

Anyway，明天估计没人赶得上了，下周最后一次，有人去我带去，没人去拉到。

为啥电话我。。。看我33楼的话，猪猪明天我就给他联系，电话费不是问题，不过我这个不是推销卖人头的，属于义务性质，要是连电话都不想给我挂一个就只能说自己不积极了。。。
