看到decimal, 十进制，cs专业的人太熟悉了。分析其词，demim =tenth. 这个词汇真是个美丽的词汇，人的身体上，十太完美。十根手指，十根脚趾。所谓十全十美是一种非常和谐的美，完美的美。

但是把mal 变为mate, decimate,突然就变得不那么和谐了。

decimate指的大批杀害，来源于古罗马军队的杀一儆十。古罗马军队中对兵变的惩罚是以抽签方式处死反叛士兵的十分之一，而且须由同班人行刑。一种做法后来在英国和其他国家也一度使用。类似中国的连座。

有一个群里说，If you think ur english is good, I challenge you to write any word that starts with T and ends with T.

简单的如test , text, twit, 吃货们自然想到了tart , toast; 而我想tent, torment, tit fort tat;也有target,甚至thought,; 某小娃神奇的脑回路里更多， tempt, torrent, turbulent, tolerant.

有趣的单词。

and any adjective starting with a T and in superlative form.
