Description
We have a newly created opportunity for an experienced Verification and Validation Engineer to join our Melbourne team.
Key Responsibilities
To
devise and define test procedures and associated scenarios, in
cooperation with other team members, in order to validate various
functions of the system (off-line and on-line)
To carry out validation and performance tests during partial integration, in cooperation with the development team
To
carry out validation tests, in cooperation with the customer
representatives, during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in-house and Site
Acceptance Tests (SAT) at the program’s relevant site
To record the test results and to prepare the Problem Change Reports (PCRs)
To report test results and debrief the customer
To track and validate PCR corrective actions, in coordination with the development team
To verify the impact of System Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
To
reassess the achievability of the test schedule and to advise the
Segment Manager and V&V Team Leader of any necessary changes or
significant risks.
To
provide internal assistance (in connection with bids, technical
proposals, dataset preparation, and system engineering) as required.
Key Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related field essential. Previous ATM experience also highly regarded.
System validation and system development lifecycle experience
Proven problem identification and analysis skills and system requirements analysis skills
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to cope with pressure
Ability / wish to travel
Familiarity with MS Office
