The job

An exciting opportunity exists to join an iconic market leader in a large, well supported product development team. This is an excellent chance for an enthusiastic and energetic senior developer to work on a widely recognised product, being redeveloped for the cloud using the latest Microsoft technologies (including .Net, WCF, Windows Azure and SQL Azure). The atmosphere is friendly, innovative and agile, whilst remaining focussed on our clients and business goals.

Skills and experience required

To be considered for this role you will be a software developer with proven experience in Microsoft based technologies. This will include:

•Strong understanding of Agile principles as well as practical experience working in Agile teams
•Extensive commercial experience with object oriented languages
•Experience with C# .Net version 3.5 or 4.0
•Strong understanding and commercial experience with WCF
•Strong understanding and commercial experience with unit testing tools (MSTest/NUnit preferred)
•Exposure to Windows Azure and SQL Azure beneficial
•Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and Domain Driven Design
•Experience with UML and Design Patterns
•Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in computer science or IT
•Experience developing financial, accounting or ERP a bonus
