关于社区语言，发email给NAATI去complain了

Dear Sir / Madam

I have a question about the "designated language bonus point" in the new point test system which will be effective after July 1st.

According to the new system, immigrants who want to claim community language point have to get accreditation by NAATI

I notice NAATI holds accreditation test only in few cities around world.

I am a Chinese candidate, and I am working in Japan, there is not any test venues in Japan.

Is that means I have to fly back to Shanghai to claim the 5 point? Even I got IELTS average 7? I am a native Chinese, why I have to pass NAATI test to prove my proficiency of the native language?

If I also need state sponsorship, in general, state sponsorship valid in 3-4 months. If I can't pass NAATI, is that mean I can't use the state sponsorship to lodge 176 visa? (NAATI holds test every 3 months in many venues)

revstat，你总是潮流的领导者。哈哈。但是不是应该发到DIAC去complain一下吗？发到NAATI有什么用？主要肇事者还是DIAC而不是NAATI啊？我觉得我们是不是应该发信去DIAC请求要求恢复清华认证啊？

楼主的精神值得佩服。但是，既然已经是台面上的东西了，改是不可能的了。除了接受，别无选择。至少这个问题不是一个人的问题，很多人都会要面对。机会面前，人人平等。另外，native chinese和proficiency in chinese应该是两个不同的概念。

支持楼主去complaint，有不满就要通过正当途径表达（我不支持你去火烧NAATI）
不满的人多了或许就会有措施（比如在世界各地增加考点或者降低考试费用等等）
你不说他们不会知道你的意见，民主社会既要充分发挥法律赋予自己的权利在合法的框架内表述自己的观点。

同意楼主的做法，确实需要去争取一下，如果complain的人多了，就会有效果，至少可以让他们评估可行性！

支持LZ! 大家都发email给移民局吧，政策是他们定的，不合理的地方应该由他们来改，或者他们去和NAATI协商。我不太同意规则已经确定complain也没用的说法，这个规则是由我们来承受的，我们觉得不满意的地方就该告诉他们让他们知道。

不过已经发给 minister@immi.gov.au

估计没有人看

实际上群发CO是最有用的

但是不像暴露我是Chinese，否则CO会刁难Chinese的

我完全支持lz的行为，native speaker还要考试才能claim 5 points，简直和脱裤子放屁一样既费事又无意义

其实还是有一定必要的，比如一个土生土长的四川人，算native Chinese，但这不足以证明他就会Chinese Mandarin。另外四川普通话、上海普通话等等，也不能算Chinese Mandarin吧。
其它国家肯定也存在这样的问题，有国籍，是native并不是证明语言能力的充分条件。

恩，考试机构不足却是是问题。这一点OZ也许会推出一些新措施或其它折中方案。
