Dear Sir / Madam
I have a question about the "designated language bonus point" in the new point test system which will be effective after from July 1st.
According to the new system, immigrants who want to claim community language points have to get accreditation by NAATI
I notice NAATI holds accreditation test only in few cities around the world.
I am a Chinese candidate, and I am working in Japan, but/however there is not any test venues in Japan.
Is that means Does it mean I have to fly back to Shanghai to claim the 5 points? Even I got IELTS average 7? I am a native Chinese, why do I have to pass the/a NAATI test to prove my proficiency of the native language?
If I also need a state sponsorship, in general, the/a state sponsorship is valid in for 3-4 months (I think the meaning here is blur. I guess it should use "for"). If I can't pass the NAATI, is that mean does it mean I can't use the state sponsorship to lodge the/a 176 visa? (NAATI holds tests every 3 months in many venues)
Please advise
Regards
