Dear XXXXXX,
Thank you for your e-mail in relation to your visa application under
Australia's General Skilled Migration program.
I note that you have requested to withdraw your application with this
Department. Please send or fax a written request with your full name, date
of birth, date of application, file reference number/transaction record
number ( if known) and passport number (if known) in order for this
request to be processed. It is also a requirement that all applicants over
the age of 18 included in the application must sign the withdrawal letter.
DIAC will accept scanned copies of the original document (non-certified)
provided they are in colour. If you scan documents in black and white,
then they must be scanned copies of the certified copies.
We prefer that these forms or any additional documents are scanned and
emailed to us at:
adelaide.gsm.documents@immi.gov.au
If you have lodged online, using your transaction number, please upload
your scanned documents at:

The request can also be faxed to the department on (08) 7421 7615 or sent

Receipt of these documents received by post or courier will not be
acknowledged.
Please ensure any correspondence sent to DIAC includes a cover sheet
stating your full name, date of birth, passport number, and either your
file reference number (for paper based applications) or Transaction Record
Number (for online applications).
As a general rule if a valid application is withdrawn the application fee
is not refunded. You can make a written request for a refund stating the
reasons why you consider your application fee should be refunded when
lodging your withdrawal letter.
