Clarify a puzzle for the Queensland SMP

Hi,guys.
If your old QLD sponsorship has got approved before the new SMP but you find your occupation is no longer in the new list, you will be still eligible to apply for 176. You will be grouped into GROUP 3 and put on hold another 2 years. If your old nomination is also in the QLD SMP, congratualtions, you may go to GROUP 2 and get granted soon.

"If you lodge your 176 with DIAC at the moment you will go to processing Level 3.  If the occupation does appear on our SMP when it is approved you will move to processing level 2.  If the occupation does not appear on our SMP then you will remain at processing level 3."

Group 3不是independent吗？如果没有了州担保，group 2的人能够分在group 3做175 independent 120分吗？

Under the old eligible list of QLD nomination and the current grade system, you only need 100 points to pass the threshold.  old 176 is equal to 175 in terms of processing time.

QLD is a little different from the other states. QLD was still accepting old SS application while waiting for the new SMP approval by DIAC. This caused a puzzle now. BY comparison, the other states suspended the application until the new SMP and therefore such puzzle does not apply.

At the moment, I would say we can safely divided the 176 into group-2 176 (new smp) and group-3 176. (old ss) for those who expressed interest to QLD.

A reminder: if anyone got nominated by QLD under the old occupation list, please note that it is only valid  12 month, which means you should apply sooner than later.

说的对的，如果你的SS不在SMP，则按Cat3的进度处理；如果在SMP上，就是Cat2.

你说的那个3年内全职工作满1年，是475吧？

总觉得这个说法有点奇怪，因为无论怎样176都是州担保的，按照DIAC官网的说法不是优先级要高于独立技术移民175吗

那是7.1之前的说法。

现在的优先级别是：176+SMP＞176+SS（SOL）=175，也就是说你即使是176，如果你的职业在不SMP上但在SOL上，那么你的优先级别和175是相同的。

由于176的pass mark分数是100分，所以对于30+的人来说，如果考不到4个7还是得需要申请州担保来满足要求的。

州政府政策能优先于移民局的政策么？ 移民局的优先顺序很清楚，在SOL3，不在SMP，按priority 3处理； 不在SOL3，也不在SMP，就是G4了。任何不是G4的case无论提交的有多晚，都比G4优先处理。基本是会被砍。

有个疑问，维州的SMP list对176和475是同样的吧，昆州的会不会变成一样呢？

QLD的176和475清单是不同的。

SMP包括176、886和475，所以如果你在新的475清单上，那么应该是按SMP处理。

SMP适用于以下签证类别：
Subclass 176 Skilled - Sponsored
Subclass 886 Skilled - Sponsored
Subclass 475 Skilled - Regional
Subclass 487 Skilled - Regional Sponsored.

但请注意，475最近批的很少。
