Thank you for your application for Victorian Government nomination under the 176 - Sponsored visa scheme.

The Victorian Government is now in a position to finalise your application, however we do require one further piece of information from you.

We have recently made a change to the assessment process which requires you to complete an updated sponsorship declaration, and return the signed document to the Skilled and Business Migration Program.  This declaration confirms that all parties understand the conditions and limitations of Victorian Government sponsorship and you should ensure that you read and understand this document prior to signature and submission.


We look forward to receiving the declaration.

没有电调，就是3月10号提交以后一直没有update ,昨天收到了那个邮件要求签署申明。

楼主，维州的这个邮件是不是要电调你呀！这封信他到底让你声明或回复什么呀！我没懂！
是不是你同意了他就要电调啊！
咱们已都是有SS的了，但听说担保没下来的那些人维州发邮件要求电调的，我和你一样，关注你的事情！

今天又收到一封邮件
Dear xxxx,



Further to the email requesting that you submit an updated sponsorship declaration, we are emailing to provide clarification in relation to the processing of your application.



As the Victorian Government's State Migration Plan is yet to be signed by the Minister for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs, the Skilled and Business Migration Program is still unable to process or accept new applications under the new state sponsorship arrangements.



However, given the delay, a decision has been made to finalise applications on hand where the client has an occupation on the Department of Immigration and Citizenship’s Skilled Occupation List (SOL).  This is because these applicants will receive Priority 2 processing while no State Migration Plan is in place.  This is the same level of priority that will apply when the Plan is in place.



In the case of clients with an occupation that is not on the SOL, these applications will be finalised up to the point of decision and you will be advised of the outcome once the State Migration Plan is in place.

State Migration Plan Changes to State Sponsorship

5 October 2010

Update - State Migration Plan

On 8 February 2010, the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) announced that new arrangements would be introduced for state and territory governments to nominate applicants through the state sponsorship program.  The new arrangements require state and territory governments to develop a State Migration Plan which identifies occupations and skill sets eligible for sponsorship, supported by labour market evidence.

Due to the federal election, the Victorian Government State Migration Plan will be implemented after 18 October 2010.

Information about the plan and the sponsorship eligibility list will be available on this website when they are complete.  Only occupations included on Victoria’s sponsorship eligibility list will be considered for sponsorship.

Introduction of ANZSCO

On 1 July 2010, DIAC introduced the ANZSCO occupation standard into its business processes and systems, and this will replace the former Australian Standard Classification of Occupations (ASCO).  The Victorian Government will also implement the ANZSCO occupation standard across all skilled visa sponsorship applications in its records.  For further information on the transitional arrangements please see DIAC’s website: www.immi.gov.au/employers/anzsco/

Suspension of Victorian Government State Sponsorship Applications

No further applications for Victorian Government (skilled) state sponsorship will be accepted from 1 July 2010, to allow for finalisation of the State Migration Plan. If your sponsorship application is currently in process, it will be considered under the new arrangements.

It indicated that your application will be finalised if your accupation is on the new SOL when your new declaration is provided, and your case (SMP) is beloned to priority 2 not the priority 3. Therefore, you could contact the Adelaide centre ASAP after you get the sponsorship-SMP not the 176.

我也收到了， 但是今天我的维州担保已经批了，估计是SMP
