选择加拿大还是澳大利亚???

我雅思听力缺了0.5分,暂时还不可以申请澳大利亚的175独立技术移民 。以前因为加拿大的申请周期太慢,所以根本没考虑过加拿大。现在加拿大的移民政策改了,38个职业进度很快,跟澳洲差不多的进度。而我的雅思现在还不能申请澳洲,但是够了加拿大。移民公司忽悠我去加拿大。

横向比较这两个国家,各有优势。但是因为我在FREEOZ上逛的时间长,所以对OZ有感情一些。我对OZ的就业阿等情况了解得也更多一些。但是对于加拿大,却不太了解那边的就业情况。

大家逗讨论一下,土木工程师,到底去哪里更合适?(抛开气候不谈,仅仅谈就业环境和经济)

枫叶卡可以进入美国
袋鼠纸去美国要申签证
但是据说有袋鼠纸申美国签证容易一些
可以自己申,一给就是一年。

各有各的好,如果我去加拿大,肯定就是为了奔USA去的。但是现在改变主意了,觉得更喜欢懒人的悠闲生活,所以选择OZ。

听力还是比较容易提高的,我支持timebirds努力一下,离4个6应该只有一步之遥了。

加拿大似乎更高端,人的平均素质更高些,物价比澳洲低很多,工业种类也比较齐全。但对新移民来说融入更难,而且失业率一直比澳洲高,经济发展也不如澳洲蓬勃。两边同样职业收入相差不多,澳洲可能会更高点。

澳洲工资稍高,但物价高很多。实际生活质量比加拿大差远了。可是新移民在加拿大找工作的难度更大。无论平均工资是多少,你找不到工作等于0

而且楼主的职业根本就不可能移民到加拿大。

土木工程civil engineering 确实不在,但是看文件要细,地质工程师包括了土木工程的很多内容。所以土木工程师,只要做岩土,地基,勘探,土工等相关方向,都没问题的。人家在职业描述里头也说得很清楚。

2144  Geological Engineers  地质工程师 包含了土木工程的很多方向。职责描述如下。从职责描述中可以看到,学土木的,做岩土工程的,靠这个职业评估一点问题都没有。

Geological engineers conduct geological and geotechnical studies to assess suitability of locations for civil engineering, mining and oil and gas projects; and plan, design, develop and supervise programs of geological data acquisition and analysis and the preparation of geological engineering reports and recommendations. Geological engineers are employed in consulting engineering companies, electrical utilities, mining and petroleum companies and in government and research and educational institutions.

Geological engineers perform some or all of the following duties:

Engineers are eligible for registration following graduation from an accredited educational program, three or four years of supervised work experience in engineering and passing a professional practice examination.

对头。因为职业分类确实很难,所以人家要给出详细的职责描述。各个领域都有相互交叉。土木和地质,在很多方面都有了交叉。只要你工作的单位有岩土这方面的业务,你自己又是土木相关领域的,申请就没有问题。当然,你就需要把你的经验朝职业描述的上面靠。但是这个不算作假。一个工程师实际工作可能涉及的东西很多。移民的时候,只能按照人家希望的多写点嘛。

此外,建筑管理经理,也适用于土木工程。对于土木工程搞施工或者监理的,就设法朝这上面靠,对设计的,就朝岩土工程上靠。没有问题。Unit Group0711 Construction Managers

我在设计院上班,基本上就是做结构设计、画图。请问我有没有希望到加拿大?
(对加拿大的政策一点都不了解,请问需要几年工作经验,英语要求如何,如果懂法语会不会有帮助。。。)

在设计院一年挣几十万,还移民干什么?呵呵。空占别人的名额。

澳洲太孤单的一块大陆。加拿大,好在北美大陆上,而且感觉就业机会比澳洲好很多,温哥华就别想了,但是蒙特利尔,多伦多还有新兴的石油小镇卡尔伯特还是很不错的,很多国内设计院的人都差不多可以找到工作的。你又懂法语。

同意上面的澳洲的歧视更厉害一些。 我两个地方都去过N次,只是自己的感觉而已啊。

雅思需要多少分,取决于你的状况。你可以找个中介把你的情况介绍一下。如果你和你爱人都有大学以上学位,雅思考2高2低就差不多了。土木工程可以分解到建筑经理和岩土工程里头去走。

如果你是纯土木工程师,那你的职业确实不在加拿大38个紧缺职业列表上,这样的话,你就不能申请加拿大移民。但是,如果你是CONSTRUCTION MANAGER, 或者是近十年中,你从事过一年38个高需职业列表上的职业,你就可以申请。最好把你的近十年的工作经历和职责贴出来,让大家给你分析一下。你也可以单独和我沟通
