选择加拿大还是澳大利亚？？？

我雅思听力缺了0.5分，暂时还不可以申请澳大利亚的175独立技术移民 。以前因为加拿大的申请周期太慢，所以根本没考虑过加拿大。现在加拿大的移民政策改了，38个职业进度很快，跟澳洲差不多的进度。而我的雅思现在还不能申请澳洲，但是够了加拿大。移民公司忽悠我去加拿大。

横向比较这两个国家，各有优势。但是因为我在FREEOZ上逛的时间长，所以对OZ有感情一些。我对OZ的就业阿等情况了解得也更多一些。但是对于加拿大，却不太了解那边的就业情况。

大家逗讨论一下，土木工程师，到底去哪里更合适？（抛开气候不谈，仅仅谈就业环境和经济）

枫叶卡可以进入美国
袋鼠纸去美国要申签证
但是据说有袋鼠纸申美国签证容易一些
可以自己申，一给就是一年。

各有各的好，如果我去加拿大，肯定就是为了奔USA去的。但是现在改变主意了，觉得更喜欢懒人的悠闲生活，所以选择OZ。

听力还是比较容易提高的，我支持timebirds努力一下，离4个6应该只有一步之遥了。

加拿大似乎更高端，人的平均素质更高些，物价比澳洲低很多，工业种类也比较齐全。但对新移民来说融入更难，而且失业率一直比澳洲高，经济发展也不如澳洲蓬勃。两边同样职业收入相差不多，澳洲可能会更高点。

澳洲工资稍高，但物价高很多。实际生活质量比加拿大差远了。可是新移民在加拿大找工作的难度更大。无论平均工资是多少，你找不到工作等于0

而且楼主的职业根本就不可能移民到加拿大。

土木工程civil engineering 确实不在，但是看文件要细，地质工程师包括了土木工程的很多内容。所以土木工程师，只要做岩土，地基，勘探，土工等相关方向，都没问题的。人家在职业描述里头也说得很清楚。

对头。因为职业分类确实很难，所以人家要给出详细的职责描述。各个领域都有相互交叉。土木和地质，在很多方面都有了交叉。只要你工作的单位有岩土这方面的业务，你自己又是土木相关领域的，申请就没有问题。当然，你就需要把你的经验朝职业描述的上面靠。但是这个不算作假。一个工程师实际工作可能涉及的东西很多。移民的时候，只能按照人家希望的多写点嘛。

澳洲太孤单的一块大陆。加拿大，好在北美大陆上，而且感觉就业机会比澳洲好很多，温哥华就别想了，但是蒙特利尔，多伦多还有新兴的石油小镇卡尔伯特还是很不错的，很多国内设计院的人都差不多可以找到工作的。你又懂法语。

同意上面的澳洲的歧视更厉害一些。 我两个地方都去过Ｎ次，只是自己的感觉而已啊。

雅思需要多少分，取决于你的状况。你可以找个中介把你的情况介绍一下。如果你和你爱人都有大学以上学位，雅思考2高2低就差不多了。土木工程可以分解到建筑经理和岩土工程里头去走。

如果你是纯土木工程师，那你的职业确实不在加拿大38个紧缺职业列表上，这样的话，你就不能申请加拿大移民。但是，如果你是CONSTRUCTION MANAGER， 或者是近十年中，你从事过一年38个高需职业列表上的职业，你就可以申请。最好把你的近十年的工作经历和职责贴出来，让大家给你分析一下。你也可以单独和我沟通
