给CO写信，得到了一个看似自动回复，请分过CO的朋友来帮我分析一下

今天中午给CO写信，问问我的申请进度，CO们好像都采用的是一个通用地址aspc.region.5@immi.gov.au  
新发过去20分钟后，就收到了从那个地址发来的一封回信，内容如下

Thank you for your e-mail in relation to your visa application under
Australia's General Skilled Migration programme.

Please be advised your application is currently undergoing routine
processing.

You may be aware that the assessment of all applications involves both
internal processes and possible liaison with external agencies. These
procedures take time and unfortunately in some circumstances this process
can take 6 months or longer to complete. Your application cannot be
finalised until the results of these processes have been returned to your
case officer.

Please Note: Some processes are undertaken by external agencies and
unfortunately DIAC has no influence over the time taken to complete checks.

信的大致内容是说，我的申请正在排队处理，但ASPC好像有内部和外部两种处理方式，所以不能确定何时会处理完。
这封信看起来是一个通用的说辞，最后有我的CO的署名。所以我不清楚，这个封信是系统自动回复的吗？如果不是，那就是我的CO套用了一个通用格式，直接给我回过来的，也就是说，她看了我的信，这封回信是最终答复了。
挺不甘心被这种自动答复给敷衍过去，大家帮我分析一下，如果是系统自动回复，那么过后CO还会再给写信吗？

自动回复是这个样子的:

CONFIRMATION OF DOCUMENT RECEIPT

The documents attached in your email have been successfully received. These
will shortly be forwarded to your case officer. Please do not mail
originals or copies of the same documentation unless you have been
specifically asked to do so.

This mail box address should only be used for forwarding documents by
email. This is to ensure that your documents reach your case officer
promptly.

Application enquiries should be made online using the online enquiry form.
You can access this form by going to
http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/forms/gsm/post.htm
(Note: If you have included an enquiry with your documents, you will need
to resubmit your enquiry separately using the online enquiry facility as it
cannot be answered from this mailbox.) We try to respond to all enquiries
within seven (7) working days.

You can also contact the ASPC by telephone on 1300 364 613.

Information on processing times is updated weekly and can be obtained by
sending a blank email to: aspc.processing@immi.gov.au

external agency 是什么？大使馆？

external agency不仅指大使馆，也包括领事馆。那句话的意思就是，评估所有申请人的申请，不仅需要移民局的内部审核流程，也需要借助联络外部机构（大使馆/领事馆），说白了，就是有时候需要借助他们的背景调查。

2楼的自动回复，我早就在发查询的时候见过了。
我这封信是发给Region 5的，不是原来的查询。理论上，应该没有个统一的自动回复，因为给这个信箱发信的人一定是千差万别。所以我也有点担心，信里所提到的external agency是不是要背调。

有没有人分过CO之后，给CO写信，得到过类似的答复？

自动回复，信不信由你。以前有人贴过跟你这个90%近似的自动回复信的。。。
