收到澳洲税局的回信了,贴出来供有需要的人共享:
How can I find out what my tax file number (TFN) is, if I have lost the original notification?
If you already have a TFN, it will be on any notice of assessment you have received or on the top left-hand corner of your payment summary (the new name for group certificates).
If you do not have an old notice of assessment or your payment summary, you can find out your TFN by: - ringing the Personal Tax Infoline on 13 28 61 between 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. We will ask you to provide information confirming your identity, or - writing to the Tax Office with your request. A comprehensive list of Tax Office addresses can be found in TaxPack or on our internet site at www.ato.gov.au - scroll to the bottom of the page and click on 'contact us' then select the link 'contact us by mail', - by attending a Tax Office shopfront. You must show original identification documents to obtain your TFN. Contact the Personal Tax Infoline on 13 28 61 to make an appointment at your nearest Tax Office shopfront and to confirm what type of identification documents you will need to take with you. You can find a list of Tax Office shopfronts in TaxPack or on the Tax Office Internet site at www.ato.gov.au, scroll to the bottom of the page and select 'Contact us', and then choose the option 'Contact us in person'. If you are unable to confirm your identity over the phone, you must obtain your TFN by either writing to the Tax Office, or by visiting a Tax Office shopfront. Please note that for privacy and security reasons we cannot provide TFNs via email. The Tax file number (TFN) auto registration system allows relevant visa holders to enquire about an existing TFN via the Tax Office Internet site at www.ato.gov.au by inputting their personal details and travel document number. The TFN auto registration system will advise you immediately of your eligibility to use the system. If you are eligible you will receive written notification of your TFN within five working days of your enquiry. If your address has changed, this will automatically update when you make an enquiry through the auto registration system. Please note: If you did not make your original TFN application online you must not use this method of enquiry. If you need to contact the Tax Office from overseas, please ring the Personal Tax Infoline on +61 13 2861 between 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). If you are unable to contact the Tax Office by dialling +61 13 2861, please ring +61 2 6216 1111 between 8.00am and 5.00pm AEST. If you prefer, you may also write to the Tax Office for advice about your taxation obligations in your particular circumstances. Please include your Tax File Number (TFN), your full name (previous and new, if applicable), date of birth, your address (previous and new, if applicable), your signature, details of your request and your contact telephone number. If you need to send a letter to the Tax Office, you can post it to the address shown on your most recent notice of assessment. You can also find a list of Tax Office contacts on the Tax Office's Internet site at www.ato.gov.au by clicking the link 'Contact us' on the bottom of the page then select 'Contact us by mail'.
