听说3.10雅思的作文是讲超市的，前些天晚上写了篇，请大家指教。
2012-3-10 some people prefer to go to supermarkets rather than go to local shops or markets, is this a positive or negative development?

Thrive of merchandise has made many kinds of sale fields be invented, accompany with local circumstance and consumer habits, such as supermarket and local shops/market. Each one has its own value for special consumer groups, which is not proper to define positive or negative development for them.
Difference always exists in our society and culture, which form our living style and social behavior. No doubt that this diversity also exist in consumer conscious. Some people like supermarket which can provide piles of goods as many kinds as possible. Once you get in, you can find out all you need at there, which is so called “One-Stop” shopping mode. Obviously some people feel boring with it, because all goods are really common without characters, and can not bargain with price. Such consumption is just achieving goal, no leisure or fun can be gained.
On the contrary, some local shops or market provide special goods which can not easily get at supermarket, just like clothes or shoes. It’s quite common that women are favorite fans of such sites. From them, some unique goods with characters can be easily discovered and deals be made after a struggling bargain, which psychologically give extreme satisfaction to ladies. That would be different experience not like in supermarket.
However, the meaning of consumption behavior is not only for necessities of living, but also brings some beautiful colors in our lives. Whatever supermarket and local shop/market are, no one can be identified as prior as another. All of them are just means to service our lives and give pleasure to make us comfortable and happy.

俺就想说，on the contrary的用法不对。你用on the other hand或者in contrast更合适一些，具体自己查吧。
总体感觉是从chinese翻译过来的，很多句子感觉别扭但是又不知道别扭在哪里

对于我这样的初学者，共勉如下：
which用多了，好像也不适用。
建议先套下模板写，有感觉后再自由发挥。
用简单的描述和句子。
