Due to an internal promotion we now have a vacancy for a Network Administrator within Information Services.
This role is responsible for the overall administration and support of all WAN infrastructure and related services in Australasia. The other key responsibilities are for the support of the companies Active Directory and Exchange environment as well as managing infrastructure projects and supporting in 3rd level server administration and planning.
The position would also be responsible for evaluating and implementing any new network applications, security and systems.
The key metrics of the role are
• Ensuring optimal network uptime, performance and security
• Smooth running of data centres
• Successful and timely delivery of projects
You will possess qualifications in Microsoft and Cisco certifications or equivalent industry experience and a Computer science degree would be highly regarded but not essential.
The key knowledge, skills and experience of the role include:
• Configuration of firewalls, routers and switches
• TCP/IP networking with WAN/LAN/VLAN/ experience
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications
• Extensive experience with Windows 2003 and Active Directory
• Familiarity with Exchange 2003 or 2007
• DNS administration and configuration
• Scripting and Group Policy knowledge
• Wireless networking
• Video conferencing
• Extensive troubleshooting experience and project implementation/management
• Willingness to travel
